Match Start FAQ
We have a new cohort every month (excluding August, November, December) starting on Jan, 2023.
Up to 5 organizations per intake
Match Start is a self-paced, eight-chapter course with several five-minute video lessons per chapter along with assignments and exercises you will be expected to complete and submit. There are 16 assignments and each can take between 20 to 40 minutes to complete. As this is a self-paced course, you will have 12 months to complete all video lessons and assignments before your access to Match Start expires.
Match Start also includes a bonus review session with our team. At any point during the course you can sign up for this 30 minute review session to ask questions about the material or assignments.
All Match Start sign ups allow one member of your organization to complete the course.
Our course is delivered through the platform Thinkific. It includes 8 chapters with several five-minute video lessons per chapter along with assignments and exercises that need to be completed and submitted through Thinkific.
In addition to four extra review/practice sessions with our team (in which you can practice delivering your pitch, go over your systems and processes set up, practice cold calls etc.), the Match Ready program also includes 12 months of weekly office hours. Office hours are where you can bring all your questions about the course, templates and materials, as well as ask for a review of your submitted assignments.
The Match Ready program also includes a curated Prospect List of 20 businesses our team thinks will be a strong potential match for your organization. After completing Chapter 3 of the Match Ready program, your organization will receive the first five businesses’ information so you can practice your solicitation while completing the course.
Match Start is the course in its basic format and does not include the four review sessions, the office hours or the list of 20 prospective companies.
