I. Terms of Payment
Businesses
Payment Processing
By providing your payment information, you declare that the information is true and that BrokersOfGood (formerly known as HeartPress) is authorized to use the payment card. BrokersOfGood uses Stripe as a third-party payment processor; when you confirm your payment, your transaction will be processed by Stripe whose Service Agreement can be found here: https://stripe.com/ca/ssa
Use of Donation or
Payment to a Non-Profit
By making a donation or payment for an opportunity, you are acknowledging that the recipient can use the funds as they wish for the program(s)/purpose(s) they’ve listed in their opportunity. Rest assured, on our platform you are giving directly to the non-profit. There are no hidden fees, no holds and funds are directed straight to the non-profit’s account.
Monetary Transaction Fee
At BrokersOfGood we bridge the gap between businesses and non-profits helping make giving rewarding and easy. To make that possible, we start by vetting non-profits and carefully curating a list of the individual opportunities that you as a business can get involved in. We then take the time to assess your needs, and the resources you have to offer. By coupling the two parts together we find you the most meaningful matches. To help operate the BrokersOfGood platform and maintain these services we do charge a small fee when a financial transaction is made.
Non-Profits
Payment Processor
We use a third party payment processor, Stripe, to process all payments. Stripe charges 2.2% of each transaction and a fixed fee of $0.30. More information on Stripe’s Payment Terms can be found here: https://stripe.com/payment-terms/legal

At BrokersOfGood, we bridge the gap between businesses and non-profits helping make giving
Our goal at BrokersOfGood is to make sure non-profits get the resources they need, by connecting them with trusted business partners. We do this by building a database of the opportunities your non-profit has for businesses to get involved. In this process we let you specify exactly what you need, this way you’ll only connect with businesses who are the best fit for your causes, creating the most meaningful matches. To help operate the BrokersOfGood platform we charge a small non-profit support fee. This fee is 3.5% for transactions less than $1000, 3% for transactions less than $10,000 and 2.5% for transactions greater than $10,000. In turn we’re able to deliver more to you, and your causes.de.
II. Privacy Policy
We want you to know that we use your information for the sole purpose of creating the best possible experience for you, and we want you to feel confident in how we protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information.
Personal Information Collection and Use
When you register with BrokersOfGood you provide us with personally identifiable information. This includes, but is not limited to, first and last name, email and phone number. BrokersOfGood also collects user usage data, which may include: which pages on our site you are visiting, how long you are spending on those pages and what information you are searching for on our site. We use this information to provide and improve BrokersOfGood’ services.
